For the Mad Maggies latest video musical offering, I dug into the past for a tune that I first realised on synthesizers. Later, for our debut album “Crazed and Enthused”, I rearranged it as more of a rock tune. When I recently re-listened to that original version from long ago, I was inspired to build yet another arrangement.
I wrote the poetry when I was falling in love with GDub, so, yes, it is a love song. But the lyrics also suit the season turn. We all go “round and round and round” with each other on this water-covered rock in space.
I play accordion, and various synths. GDub joins on guitar.
“Our Hearts Ride a Big Wheel” is genre-fluid, and definitely AI defying.
